Character Sketch

Well, this is a quick sketch of one of the main characters of the flash series I'm working on. Let me know what you guys think about it.

Ya might want to make a few revisions before you do a final. This needs plenty of work before it can be deemed worthy of flash material.

Already planned on it. This is more for a general idea of what the character looks like.

And practice drawing him.

Not to be a complainer, but there are several things that I must point out.
1) The proportions are way off.
2) The anatomy is pretty bad.
3) The clothes are too stiff.
That's all I can think if in 5 minutes. If I had more time, I'd rip on every detail that's there...

Hey, I appreciate the comments. This is actually one of my better person drawings. I've never been good at drawing people.

I know that the art in the series isn't going to be great, but the story should make up for that.

Feet are well done, hair is my favorite style :D, but the body and pants should have some improvement.

That hair is based off my hair.

As for body and pants, the only changes I'm gonna make will be proportion wise. The look itself is how I want it.

pretty mediocre, u should get a guide book to anime drawings (i assume thats what ur going for)

yea u need a bit of practice, still though its not really all that bad.

Thanks. I am going for a sort of anime style, with some of my own touches.

anime guide books really only teach you how "TO DRAW JUST LIKE YOUR FAVORITE ARTISTS" and you don't want that, get more open ended art book.

Oh, I know. I was thanking him for the advice anyway.

The things that I have the most trouble with drawing are the hands and the face.

So, anybody willing to give me any sort of advice or tips on how to improve this? Later today I'll get my next character sketch for the series up. It'll be another character.

this one is a bit weaker then the first, it doesnt cut it sorry. just retry.

I can barely see the lines... The proportions are off... yet again. The arms also look kind of awkward. Add some more detail into your pictures, they're too bland....

Well, these were just quick, spur of the moment sketches. I'll work on some better ones.
