I work at a sex toy store so I've pretty much tested out the whole range of size, girth, and function. Basically it's a personal preference thing. Me, I prefer a thick 8 inches on both human beings and toys. Some ladies come in and buy small, some ladies buy ones the size and girth of pringles cans that have attachments to make them inflate further. There's ways to make any penis work for you though, it's kind of a question of angle though. Too small a penis will fall out during sex several times. I s'pose a good rule of thumb is, if she's (or he or ze, for the alternate lifestylers) not sure if you're in when you are in, you're too small.
