Have you looked up any tutorials on lip sync?
I like this one. The art in it is kind of shabby, but it helps you understand what shape the mouth makes for different syllables.
Well, it's the way I'm doing it, I just say the e/l/p or whatever and then draw it over in flash using onion-skinning. :D So I guess I'm going into the right direction =] Thanks for the link, it has definatly helped me with the sh specially =]

I think one of the many untapped resources out there is to simple look at your own mouth. I recently made a thing with lip-sync in it, and the only thing I used for it was my own mouth. That's how they learned it at Disney too.
