Deciphering complicated metaphors

In this thread you will post a complicated metaphor type line, such as in many hip hop songs, poetry, and other things.. and the next person with decipher it and post a new one, or someone can post one whatever.. To start things out I will use this one,

I'm assuming he means soul in like, the musical sense. like "having soul". and he's using his lack of socks, therefore his feet touching the soles of his shoes, as a connection.

maybe he's using a double meaning for the word soul, he could also mean sole as in the sole of a shoe. so when you wear a "sock wit a hole" your foot ends up touching the sole of the shoe.
