Like someone said upper, it's only flood control, to prevent you from posting two posts in less than one minute in the same thread. But even if you do wait one minute and post something RIGHT after you posted another thing, it's going to be considered as a double post... Example: you forgot about something and want to add more information or whatever to your last post... "Sorry for the double-post, but..." is usually where you're going to see that.
