There has been stuff saying the game " I Want to be that Guy" was possibly the hardest Platformer in existence even more so than Megaman ... Is that true?

I got bored with it, the night vision level was awesome, I love night vision, the hardest difficulty wasn't that bad, but the ps2 version was more like an older fps, not great animation, Duke Nukem 3D was better in my opinion.

and any game from Tomonobu Itagaki

im not sure but hardest game i ever played was fire emblem radiant dawn on hard mode just try and keep all your guys alive in that mess and just try not to lose 100s of times

legacy of the wizard for nes it doesn't tell you what is going on where to go or what the fuck your supposed to even be doing. i got trapt so many times when i was the cat. the cat was invincible to enemies. so i would be lost with no magic attack stuck in some place where i couldn't jump....AHHHH FUCK THAT GAME!!!! it makes me angry thinking about it.

But for me, it would definately be Ninja Gaiden (Xbox). That game put multiple holes in my wall, gave me a sprained wrist (the ground is alot harder than it looks), and many ulcers. I finally beat it, and when I did I was stoked.I even read in a magazine that about 16% of the people that bought it actually beat it.

Agreed 100%. The Mushihime series aggravated me more than IWBTG.

I would have to say Space Ace for the SNES. The game takes absolutely no skill, but you basically have to memorize the game in order to complete it.

FF12. bosses were hard as fuck. i spent over 200 hours on that game.

Battletoad was one of the few games that got EVEN harder on 2 Player. It made you lose friends most of the time.
