We saw this movie in class today for a history assignement.
At first I thought it was going to suck ass. The poor cover and our school budget had convinced me that it was made by a bunch of amateurs. But then I realised it was Stephen Spielberg that had instructed, etc.
So we see the movie, and I feel like I'm the only one affected. I mean, it was tragic and all, but also very powerfully moving in so many aspects. I think the only time I felt sadder, was when we had a danish jew who attended and survived Auschwitz, telling us about his horrible childhood.
So has anyone seen the actual film? And what do you think of it?
Because all my mates didn't give a flying shit about the movie.
