Dude... for General, it says the last post was at 2:32 AM, and for C&C it says the last post was at 2:33 AM. General received a post within 1 minute of C&C's "active" post that ruined your screenshot. You told Krev that General gets a post every 30 seconds... well, 30-60ish or so was still true in your screenshot. You didn't capture a unique moment where somehow General wasn't being posted in at all for a long period of time, you just captured a normal moment when General had been posted in within the past minute.

And I'm gonna take a wild guess and assume that the reason all the forums were listed as grey/no-unread-posts is that you were refreshing the BBS again and again till almost everything was inactive for a screenshot. Of course that's gonna happen. There's not dozens of posts per minute here, after all, spread all around the various forums of the BBS. This isn't youtube's comments system, it's NG BBS. Very light traffic (relatively-speaking).

I just don't get what the point of showing that you can refresh the BBS listing and make it look like all the forums are dormant when really if you had waited an hour before hitting refresh, almost all of them would have shown new posts.... In fact, looking at your screenshot again, every single one of the 9 normal forums (the all-access ones) had postes within 30-60 minutes prior to the posts I mentioned above on General and on C&C that were the most recent ones at the time of the screenshot.

So.... huh? Unless a nice, grey, "no-unread-posts-since-your-last-visit" screenshot is aesthetically pleasing to you, I fail to see the point of those two screenshots. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course, this topis has way way way way more useless screenshots than that. #;-}> But if that's what you like, just hang out on Wi/Ht? in the middle of the night, hit refresh a couple times, and you'll have a nice long list of 30 topics, all grey and "inactive." Nothing special.

You know why all of the lists are off track and not on the top of the page like they were at one point in time? Posts were deleted and that causing them to be off alot. Now this is not the case for all of the list's but i would say 9 of 10 times this is what caused the problem here. Most of the posts may seem just like +1 posts and yes they may be for Wi/Ht standards, if you look in the mass of topics in the general. I would say that mosts of the posts are just a few words long and have little value what so ever. The users who post here :::alot are mine:::: want to share the past with the people who may not have been around for it. It could bring back alot of memories for users who lived through that time the screenshot was taken in.

I noticed that the previous game of the week, Toss the Turtle, had it's "game of the Week" image featured in another place on the front page. It was right under the artist news and to the right of the featured series & collections and featured web content boxes. Anyone else getting this?

I think they added it when they put the featured art in the frontpage, so that the layout looks fine. I think it's cool, but I'm not sure if many people will see it down there.

Yes, because I sometimes come back to this thread to search for a specific picture and can't find it because of the table of contents page being invalid and out of order.

Dude, with all the crappy topics in general, I click the "forums" button all the time to check and see if General has a new topic made within it. I managed to catch the General forum inactive for a minute. That's not too common considering more than 50% of the user base is in General and a post is made like every 10-30 seconds.

Well I have seen worse shit here before; at least this crap IS NG-related.

How many times per year do you see the General forum having the grey icon? Probably like 20 times. Sure it's easy to spot all but the General forum having the grey icon (I personally think that screenshot is stupid), but this one is quite rare. I have seen it happen twice in my 10-month membership on NG.

If Hybrid doesn't want to add it in the content list, that is PERFECTLY fine with me. In fact, I'd prefer he didn't add it in the content list. Speaking of which, somehow my content list got shoved back to the previous page without being deleted. Also, with the content page of the previous page not being made (unless the one I made is going to be the official one), NEVR can delete the 2 inactive screenshots if he wishes. I personally think he shouldn't, since the content page of the previous page is at the bottom of that page.

I understand posts were deleted (but mods cannot delete old posts), but look at the previous page; you guys posted without giving a bit of respect to Hybrid posting the contents.

Again, look at the previous page. He failed to make it in the first page. I don't blame him; I blame all you guys (drop gfox). Seriously, if this statwhoring bullshit doesn't stop, I'll make the content page and if Hybrid follows up with his version, then I'll get a mod to delete my content post, because frankly, it's close to impossibly pinpointing a specific screenshot with the content post messed up, and if pinpointing a screenshot is close to impossible, then there's no use of having a content post.

So recently, the DD hacked another mod account, Egoraptor, to gain control of an area. Egoraptor being an art mod, the DD took over part of the art portal, and plastered the typical gay/shock images around the site.

use general more, there are often times where there aren't any posts for up to 10 minutes. I can remember seeing it go for over 20 minutes before, but that isn't a frequent occurrence.

I'm not posting as much as i once did here, because i'm trying to not make as meny +1 posts as it seems this is. by posting four times a day in here or even more. Though my archive is ever expanding and i want to post some newer things that i have picked up.

One of four: this is a screenshot of the top ten blam and protection list from january 1st 2005. Now if you look at it Gfox is at nuber 2 the highest rank i think he ever got.

Two of four: this is a old ad that newgrounds used to show around 2004 and 2005. It would lead to the collections page.

Three of four: this was the page you got in 2005 that it asked you if you was sure you wanted to visit the adult section of the site, now it look much better.

Four of four: Now In 2005 some of you may remeber that we had a decent store running of newgrounds it sold alot of things in meny different styles. It even looks like we had a newgrounds thong for the ladys of course.
