I would`ve thought the same about the regular icon, but Im guessing he just likes the one he has now.

No there archived on web.archive.org so you didnt find them yourself, on Ng. No skill is involved.

I believe they may be referring to the fact that the images that you have posted thus far would be from a time anterior to the foundation of your Newgrounds profile. Granted, this is not to say that you were inactive during this time, but to some people, this fact may be appear to be somewhat incongruous, as I am sure you can imagine. However, this is by no means an indication of your respective experience on Newgrounds.

It's not so much 'skill' that's the concern, but rather that he's posting things that he clearly hasn't actually experienced, and thus can't give an accurate description of, and kinda takes the specialness out of the shots he's posting.

With gfoxcook's screenshots, on the other hand, they are all things that he's experienced, and so he can tell a little story about them, or explain the meaning behind them, which gives them a certain nostalgic quality for anybody else who was around at that time and may have experienced the same thing.

I believe they may be referring to the fact that the images that you have posted thus far would be from a time anterior to the foundation of your Newgrounds profile. Granted, this is not to say that you were inactive during this time, but to some people, this fact may be appear to be somewhat incongruous, as I am sure you can imagine. i undrestand what you and sirtom93 are saying, but i was active here around mid 05 and came back here acouple of months later to create a account here. and i am sorry if i seemed incongruous. i was just trying to post stuff that seemed interesting to ng. but in my opinion a usuers sign-up-date does't mean he should not be able to post old pic's of ng if they want to.

Ehhh... you know, if it's the middle of the night, but the Asians and Europeans haven't gotten on the BBS yet.... it's not that strange to see hardly any new posts showing up on the main BBS page, especially if you're reloading it a minute later or something.

Your screenshot showed only new posts in General and Politics. But the only way that would be impressive is if your screenie showed proof (such as: last visit... 9PM... currently: 12AM) that it had been 3 hours since the last new posts had happened on all those other forums.

And I'd wager your screenie was showing there'd been no new posts on all forums but 2 forums... for just 5 minutes or so. Am I right? That's not impressive.

I think everyone knows he's been using web archive just to find things to post here in order to get his post count up. Whilst the shots aren't actually things he's experienced during his time on NG, however, they do contribute to the thread for the most part.

Glad it was useful for you. Regarding pics showing [ADMINISTRATE] [RECORDS]... etc.... links, no admin ever told us mods not to post such screenies, and there are tons of them. In fact, there's already been plenty I went right past instead of posting them in here in my first 36 screenies posted here, because they just weren't that notable.

So... if mods are no LONGER willing to do so, that's one thing, but there used to be plenty of mods, back in 2003-2005, posting screenies with the mod links on them.

But, doberman, I think you'd be disappointed. There was no [BAN] button. Just the [ADMINISTRATE] button. Doesn't quite impress as much as a "BAN" button, eh? Plus, they were all just text links (as you can see on that screenie above someone posted with the newer version of mod tools). No actual button graphics, like the posting-related buttons that all users can see.

Admins didn't design the mod interface to look cool or be intimidating to normal users if they could see it... it's just there to be functional, yanno? No big deal, so wait for your boner to go away and just move along. #;-}>

Thanks for appreciating my descriptions on the pics. I had a feeling 10% of people would even care, but then again, far less than 10% of the visitors to this forum even check out any given statlist, so I'm used to doing things only for the small minority. #;-}>

Gets kinda boring if it's just screenshot after screenshot with nobody saying much else. The long-ass gfox posts are a nice departure from that dynamic.
