Why would you want any other software? FL Studio is a great prgram, & user-friendly too. Perfect for beginners & professionals alike, IMO.

Well, if you want real profession...alism... you need to use more than one program IMO... Like Cubase AND FL. Whole bunch of stuff.

Entirely untrue. FL is a very powerful program- more accurately, it's as powerful as the VSTs you use.

You don't need anything besides a DAW (FL) and VSTs (Sytrus, 3xosc, boobass etc)

But you must remember to experiment, and not restrict yourself to samples and presets!

Yeh fruity loops is awesome. Its perfect for everything you would need to do. My only tripe is its file management system, i hate having to select the mixer, click record and name the file EVERY time i want to record.

never said ti wasnt powerful, as it is very powerful...

But it can be even more powerful if you mix it with cubase or something.

My question whenever considering something: What can it do that FL can't?

New Song on XD: James Brown Is Dead (X Bootleg). Check it!

I tend to use ableton now, since it is probhably easier than everything else (especially fl, trust me on this) (therefore faster to learn) you don't even really have to watch or read tutorials, unless you wanna do something really special..

Sorry for all the (()))()())))(())()()'s i can't help it.. (:P)
