Britain, hands down (one of the most formidable and they have nukes). North Korea (especially with their long range missiles), South Korea (technologically advanced), Nepal (Gurkhas mostly but overall decent army), Bangladesh (the army is growing due to the threat India poses, began modernisation), Sri Lanka (rich in experience such as full on war and guerilla war), Japan (if they'll ever get an army back).

New Zealand is a threat to small island countries.

That's pretty much it.

Just a few things I don't get:
1. Military....yes, with ex-Vietnam APCs and 12 choppers total.....this is good HOW? (Yes, I know the SAS is damned good, and whatever unit has those new antitank missile launchers,but the main section is sorta bad on equipment)

2. Peaceful?!! You guys obviously haven't seen my various assorted 'volatiles'.....

Gorrrrre is also a district around the town. The entire district has a population of about 13K, so when gore anounces proudly that it's the second largest town in southland, it isnt really sdaying that much ;)

It's highly symbolic. The group's goal is to turn all weapons of war into useful garden implements. But in this case, popping the bubble (veil or shroud) of secrecy surrounding global spy-networks is also a highly symbolic gesture.

Who cares about New Zealand? Like Canada and Australia, it's not a real country, anyway.

I would not think New Zealand is a threat to anyone, as I do not recall any wars that they have started with other countries. Of course, people do not do their research all the time and thus do not take my word for it, as it seems like every country would have at least one war with some other country. So I would say no.

Not a lot of resources, and you're roughly the size of the state of Road Island. Japan is not much bigger, however, and they controlled parts of China and Korea at one point, as well as bombing pearl harbor, so it's possible.

I don't see it happening, but maybe some day it might. It's not making me look over my shoulder or anything, I'll say that much.

New Zealand is about a big a threat to anyone as countries like Japan or Finland is now, in other words, not very much at all. Just because they have their version of the SAS doesn't make them a powerful army in any sense of the imagination, most special forces like the Navy Seals, British SAS, KSK, or even the Spetsnaz would whomp their ass in a fight.

A country is only a threat when it wants to be. To answer the question, answer me this: what would make New Zealand want to be a threat?
