Do it with a friend. I toke sometimes, sometimes do other stuff, and my only advice would be to be smart about it. My first trip with pot was terrifying. I completely freaked out. But my friends were there; they helped me calm down and go with it. And pots not my drug of choice, but if you just accept that you're going to loose control over the world around you, it can be a lot of fun. Of course listen to all the people saying dont. I'm an excellent student, I was before I started doing drugs, and I still am. But my friend, hes a complete wash out, all because pot is his everything. So consider it. You'll live, people exaggerate the harm. But you also dont have to, people who dont have just as good lives. Be smart.

i find the best way to do it is to breathe normally with the smoke in your lungs. the first time i smoked weed was out of a bong and man it messed me up but um go with a pipe or a joint.

Hold it in for awhile. Also, a hit, a small breath of air, and another hit will prevent you from coughing up a storm most of the time. Since this is your first time, a coughing fit is inevitable depending on the quality of the weed.
