I am honestly surprised by the amount of people who don't know. I always though I was one of the few not to watch it.

It is one of (if not the) best political satire books. I read it for a history class in high school, and I really enjoyed it.

It was a piece of piss, read it in a night and wrote a dull dissertation pointing out all of the dull allegory with the Stalinist regime in the USSR.
Still, got an A.
The book itself is quite clever, a good read, but once you're made to analyse something too much it spoils it to a certain extent.
I agree. Itwas a great read the first times, but after I started taking higher English, my enjoyment of reading has decreased rapidly. Now I can only focus on over-analyzing texts.
It's rather annoying.

i don't remember how long it to me but i had to read it twice... once in 7th grade once in 11th... it had good points but having to overanalizing it killed it all... like trying to lick the mona lisa for a deeper understanding sometimes a first look gets the real points across

I thought that was an excellent book. It shows the bad sides in both Communism and Capitalism.

I've heard of it, I'm pretty sure it's at least 150 pages. Normal sized text without many (if any) pictures.

Four legs good, two legs bad!
Oh those lovable sheep.
Someone once asked me why I call myself Unimportant. Simple, I said. As a nihilist, that's what I see everyone and everything as. In the end, we are all Unimportant.
