hey guys , ive been illustrating cartoons all my life, i have some great ideas but up to now ive been using the old school pen and ink, im thinking of upgrading and starting to use computers to produce some of my cartoon ideas, any idea of any sites or sofware where i could beging?

Any drawing program that offer anti-aliasing should work. Try googling "GIMP" and "Paint.NET". Those are 2 image editors that I find work well for drawing.
You also may want to invest in a Wacom tablet if you haven't already.

For drawing, you should probably use a Wacom Tablet. Get the Bamboo. It's cheap and efficient.

Well, I you should download Gimp and get a tablet. Or just scan a picture and post it on the Art forum.

If you're looking for something affordable, then either Paint.NET or Gimp will do just fine. Photoshop is always a good choice, too.
