Sorry for the double post, but I'm going off the ages people have in their profiles, so if you aren't 18, or won't be turning in the next year or so, please let me know.

I'd hate to have someone drive or fly all the way to NYC/DC to just be left behind by the group when we head out for a good time.

All righty, I see you all got your ballots.

We'll decide the when right after Timmy counts the votes.

I know most of you older users want to have it as soon as possible, and that you 17 year olds want it next year, so that's what we'll decide next.

Then again, we could have two meet ups, one this summer and another one next year. And then we could have the top two cities hosting the meet ups.

Nope. Montreal meet was fantastic: see my blog for a near full account of the massive amount of stuff we did. You're just sore because they were shooting down this idea: which is also silly (of them). There were drinks in Montreal, yes, and if I go to this ECM then I shall be partaking in drinks whether you minors like it or not.

I agree!

The Montreal meet up was fun, and this meetup will be fun. it's a bit narcissistic for FBI and EyeLovePoozy to think that no more meetups will ever be of equivalent fun.

I don't think so. The only reason I and FBI are predicting failure is because the vast majority of the people saying they will attend are under 18 and the rest are under 21. That fact mixed with the glaring fact that this thread has reached 7 pages without even a destination for the meet-up probably means failure.

Don't get me wrong guys. I'd love for you fucks to prove me wrong but I'm just stating the highly probable is all.

Also, if you unorganized twats decide on NY. I most likely will be visiting my folks in Brooklyn at the time and wouldn't mind popping in and sharing some good times with you guys in the city. I'm sure between Bret and I we could navigate a group around the bowels of the city with relative ease.

If I go first person I buy a drink for is BrooklynBret. I'll buy it for him as thanks for his hilarious letter to the French embassy and other hysterical shenanigans you can find linked on his userpage.

Well when I saw the OMG 30 people thing, I too was like "pffft, maybe like 10, tops." But that doesn't mean it'll fall into shambles. Sure, the MTL meet thread got off to a way better start, with confirmations by like, page... 5? But Fragment and Timmy at the very least seem dedicated to the idea and I believe they can pull it off.

All they need to do is make a new thread a month or two before the actual GO DATE to have a more directed approach: get a rough list of enthusiastics from this venture, then PM them when the new thread is made.

Don't get me wrong guys. I'd love for you fucks to prove me wrong but I'm just stating the highly probable is all.

I don't think this'll measure up the Montreal's quantity of people, but I have a feeling something will happen. =)

Sweet, we might also be able to hook Evark into the deal too, since there's less border crossings and whatnot.

I'd be honored to tour some NG'ers around Brooklyn along with someone who uses the phrase "unorganized twats." I agree about the over 21 thing, though. NYC isn't the stricted with IDs, but I'm not going to try and entertain a bunch of non-drinkers. Also, Mercator... I don't know what this "club" talk is. If the group wants to go to a "club", you all can hit New Jersey for some slimey trash dancing.

Trust me, no one on newgrounds would want to go to a jersey club, at least the ones by me. And if you need to go to a bar to have then whatever, exclude people.

Maybe NYC isn't a good cultural fit for you.

(may I suggest the south jersey shore, or perhaps walmart for a fit more to your class level?)

Well guys I would have to say that we really need for those who will be attending to chill out so theres no problems on the road, and for those who aren't going, to just chill out and find some other place to post for now.

I've only seen a few people who have posted try to help, while the others just complain.

I'm still set on going to this thing, I casted my vote for DC, and while I don't really care where it is held, how many people are we looking at right now and what are the accommodation's going to be right now? Has anyone thought about that aspect right now, or how you all will be getting there.

So far, MercatorMap and I will be traveling together since we live in the same area. I'm going to suggest some others do the same since it will make travel easier than if we were all to go our own way.

Also, we need to think of a place where everyone can meet and we need to discuss rules on this as well.

Such as, drugs and alcohol. I do drink a bit when in the mood but its not something I need. I also smoke ciggys but I don't dabble in any drugs anymore, I don't care if others do but its not something I am interested in myself.

So, focus on what we need to focus on to make this work, not personal differences and flame-wars.

15 days on NG?? I dont know if you should be counted mate. Besides, age is unconfirmed.

I've been here longer than you, obviously this is not my original account. And when I show up I'll show you my ID so you can see how old I am. Speaking of which your age is uncomfirmed as well, people lie on their profiles all the time.

For people like this we have to require some form of proper ID. This is so we know they are vote rigging and are of age.

The list is to show all those who can go, those who are 17 are on since they may be of age by time to meet-up. If you aren't on the list though then it is because of your age or because I am uncertain of your age.

Some were on the list though they are younger since their profile age may be a lie. (Regs only get this)

Well, maybe not the recent one, but the one where all the pictures have been posted (2006?) looked like just drinking and talking.

You're just sore because they were shooting down this idea: which is also silly (of them).

Well, you're right on that. I can't really say if the Montreal meet was good or not, but it is pretty stupid to be so eager to shut down an idea that is getting a lot of positive feedback. I didn't mean to insult you, pox, Luis, or anyone else who went ot the Montreal meets, but this is a well planned out, organized meet, so I don't see how is it going to fail simply because the majority of the people who are going will be 18 or 19.

There were drinks in Montreal, yes, and if I go to this ECM then I shall be partaking in drinks whether you minors like it or not.

Hey, I personally don't drink, but I've been to my share of high school parties and I've even had the pleasure of throwing one this spring break, so you can be sure that I won't frown upon any drinking.

Um, and what the hell is it with the e-drama?

Like I said before, if you're under 18, PM. If you're under the age of 17 (with some VERY exclusive exceptions) don't even bother. If your mental capability is that of someone under the age of 17, once again, don't even bother.

Poozy, we're really not disorganized. Timmy and I decided to use a very democratic approach to this, so like we've both stated before, everyone should say when and where. However, we're deciding tonight, so anything else after that won't be taken into consideration.

Like I've said before as well, I really don't care if you drink, if you smoke, if you do drugs or if you get high off your own feces, whatever the hell pleases you, go ahead and do it. The over-18 rule is not only so that we're guaranteed a lot of fun, but also to make sure that those involved can take care of themselves, say, an arrest for underage drinking occurs.

I'm repeating this all once more so that it is crystal. No more e-drama, it's pointless. No people under 18 (with some exceptions), we're not babysitters. You can do whatever you want. PM me or Timmy for your decisions on when and where. We'll decide tonight.

This is a bit selfish, but I've got a consideration for pittsburgh. Living there and all. Probably would be Philly ftw.
