Also, inviting people under 21, which is the legal age in U.S.A. I believe will lead to nothing but a bunch of kids doing nothing in random locations such as a museum, arcades or a lan cafe.

There's nothing wrong with museums/arcades/tourism (not lan cafes. They're teh ghey).

I wish you good luck, but I personally wouldn't show up to a Meet-up if it isn't happening in bars or had alcohol + adults only involved.

Well, I'mn 17 going on 18, and I don't think we need to get drunk to have fun. I already have a vague idea of what to do if we do it here in D.C and it's a lot of fun, considering it's aimed at the 18 to 21 crowd.

Right now, the choices are late summer 2008, spring break 2009 and summer 2009.

Guys, this are the early stages of planning, so of course we don't have an exact date and location. But so far, I have 15 people showing honest interest, and taking all the suggestions of location into consideration, right now it's split between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C

I'll decide on a definite location in a couple of days, when I have a good idea of who's coming and not.

Why no meet-ups on the West Coast?

I may go to this event. I can also suggest the beautiful city of Richmond as a place to go, it's where I live so it's very convenient for me :D Also I can house maybe five or six people in my place.

yes, DC seems reasonable too. Anything else would be a little hard for me.

If it's in Boston, then I could probably go.

Maybe we could meet up in Philly and raid the NG offices.

I live in NYC, but if this doesn't happen within the next 3-5 months, count me out.
