Its a decent pre-built computer. I doubt that 8300GS will be able to play COD4 decently. Also I would have only got 1 Gig of DDR2 and bought another stick for like $10 cause Dell likes to over charge for a Ram upgrade.

Since you bought a Dell, don't expect it to last a very long time. You got ripped on the mouse by the way. You paid $50 for it, yet I got the same mouse with a wireless keyboard for $15 more.

1) It would be a mistake if Macs were more useful than a handful of sawdust.
2) At least he didn't get a Compaq
3) Vista is amazing; especially with SP1 which makes games run faster

The only thing he needs is larger hard drive, better gfx card, and more RAM. Although, I would've preferred AMD Athlon Dual Core, Intel is fine as well.

2) I agree here. I got a Dell, and it lasted me a surprising 5 years. The life expectancy of a Dell is only 4.

I followed a link someone posted. It was a 500mb download, but it was with all languages. I believe the English only version came over windows updates and was about 60mb. I could be mistaken though. All I know is that my computer no longer lags while I play GTA:SA and I'm in the middle of a sand storm like it used to. :D
