Wow, with those responses, I'm really excited about this collab. I hope one of my submissions made it in.

I bet out of those 50, Depending on the length, it'll be wittled down to around 40 or so, so even if we made it into the top pile right now, we may get shaved off. so Good luck to everyone and I'll see you when They announce the entrents. :D

Say there are two really good submissions by one guy, and a pretty damn good one by another guy, and only enough room for one more part in the collab. The first guy's are just a little bit better than the second guy's, but he's already got at least one part in. Will the second guy get shafted from the collab so the first guy can have two slightly better parts in it, or is this more about the community aspect, with a broader variety of artists being the final goal?

don't worry, if they are good, they'll get in, there's no limit to submissions (i think).

I wouldn't imagine that they'd let one guy have more than one submission at the expense of the guy just below him, they'd probably just let in them both. I mean, if there would be that much debate about whether or not one certain submission gets in compared to another one, then they're both most likely pretty awesome to feel the need to try and make the final cut. I mean, either one could be good enough to be featured in the collab.

We all need to sit down here and make a final list. We also need to decide if we're going to compile all those that were really close into a second movie.

Not to complaint ( I know they are busy busy busy) but will we be informed if we are in the collab only when it is released?

The plan is to release a list beforehand, we should have that out very soon.

I hope you guys get to submit that second movie.. the more.. the better.
And it wont degrade the overall quality of the movie cause its in a diferent flash movie.

Holy shit. A half an hour?! Geez, now that's fucking long! Have there been any other movies that have lasted that long? And I thought a 10 minute flash movie was long. Wasn't Decline of Video Gaming 3 about that long?

Oh man, it sounds just like how the MGS games have the re-released editions of the games like MGS: Integral Missions, MGS2: Substance and MGS3: Subsistence. Maybe the alternate version could be called something like Newgrounds MGS Collab: Fission Mailed or some crazy name like that.

That would be somewhat original I think, 'coz I've never seen/participated in something like this here on NG.
The first one will include the best entries, and the second those decent ones which do not deserve to be in the first. Well, you get the idea.
That would be great, because I'm sure there were such authors who spent some days working day and night on their movies and did their best, but wasn't good enough because there such mastodonts who have like 4-5 years of experience in Flash.
It's still better to see them in one flash-movie here than scattered on Deviant Art or Sheezy Art
You can even classify them in collab like "MGS", "MGS3: Teh Snake Eater", "MGS Miscelanious" and so on...

Also look what I bought yesterday :) An MGS4 action figure! (I don't have a PS3 so... if I can't play the game, I'll buy the merchandise! That's one way to make a fangirl feel better...I'm still dead jealous of the PS3 owners right now though. Gah!)
