Decided to scrap the Volgin idea, mainly cos a) cock joke (the scripts title was 'electric eel', you do the math) and I came up with something far better with young Ocelot.

I cant fucking wait to see everyone else's movies

Anyway.. 1 question.. If the submition goes a little over 30 seconds (say its 35 sec) but was justified for the extra time, and was an above average submition. Would it still be elegible??

I've brought a bunch of concepts through various degrees of completetion and I think I've finally found the one that's juuuust right. My first idea was fairly decent, but it was way to Metal Gear Awesome so I had to scrap it. Fortunately I had only gotten to the point when a few of the character models were drawn and I hadn't gotten through the animation. My second idea was actually brilliant, but it was based of a nine minute movie scene and no matter how I tried there was no way I could keep the parody funny and coherent in under five so that never got out of the concept phase. Nothing else even got that far.

I feel very confident with this last idea though. I think I may just be the only person going all the way back to the original Metal Gear. My Flash experience is fairly minimal so I hope I can get it done in time.

Must be really kickass, 30 seconds is too much time, you need to make something extra hilarius not assleep the viewer

IDK I think this might be pretty Bad Ass, I mean, I didn't like the last Metal Gear Awesome.

Mine has a box and Snake, but there isn't really a joke based on the box, and Snake doesn't even get a line. Is that kosher?

First frame! Tried to make the art-style cartoony and not realistic.

Its just my grey fox design... i think it turned out pretty good...
I know it all looks very realistic and little cartoony.. but dont worry.. it will be humoristic,.. i just chose this art style.
