I'd like a nice critique of my web design portfolio, particularly on what I need to work on.

no, if it's in the flash section he can offer a link. but this is the art section, meaning that it should be in the flash forum.

Aturaten, just crop out something in your portfolio and upload it by clicking "browse" when you next post. Each topic in the art forum must have a starting picture of your own work attached to the post.

And if we see a picture straight away, we will want to click on the link... or if the picture is terrible, we won't want to click on the link haha.

awesome dude good job with the gradients-however this looks a bit cluttered. overall though, I like it.

Its a good start. My main complaint is that the web page looks really bland and plain. I suggest looking at other designs and generate some ideas on how to add more spice to the overall look.

Your portfolio should be much more personalized than simply being your deviantart account. Try carbonmade.com. Or even better, make your own site. If you're serious about getting a job, it's worth the meager ammounts that a website actually costs these days.

Oh, I can host it on my own at any time, I just don't see the need as this isn't my job, programming is.

Note that NG has an asinine rule and I couldn't post my other 3 designs.
