Thin Lizzy - Emerald - Thin Lizzy is a big guilty pleasure band for me so I'd be remiss if I excluded them from my wishlist. In my opinion they were always at their best when they were in hard rock mode. Emerald fits the bill as an epic rocker with a distinctive celtic sound.

Great tune. Either that, Rosalie, or Out in the Fields, all of which have great beats and well written solos - both for lead and Bass

Van Halen - Panema - I'm not a huge fan of Van Halen, but I can't deny that Eddie Van Halen's riffs and solos make for some great Guitar Hero fodder.

Panama is good, but I prefer Eruption. I'd love to be able to play that awesome tune.

People are forgetting the musical genius of Joe Satriani. I'd love to hear people playing Surfin' with the Alien, as it's one of my favourite tunes of all time.

Are the Beastie Boys in any of the previous games with "Fight for your right to Party!"? Another solid tune, with good playability and not too much on the "OMG, my shoulder wants to fall off!" feelings.

I've also mentioned Yngwie J. Malmsteen and his tune, Vengeance in previous threads. Give me these and I'm a satisfied GH player with very sore arms.

Quite possibly the best guitar solo ever. Don't give me any Stairway to Heaven crap. Buckethead ftw.

Yeah, the Beastie Boys have great rap and rock talents, I only wih GH would realize that and bring another one into the next game.

Good ideas, I suppose, but from what I know, the fourth game is going to be based solely on Aerosmith.

Life's Been Good to Me (So Far) would be a great addition.

Beastie Boys have only been featured for Sabotage on GH3 so far.

I'm not familiar with it, so I wouldn't know.

But as great as Stairway's ending is (I think it owes as much to the other instruments, including the vocals, though) as a guitar solo, I doubt many would say it's the best ever.

No, GH: Aerosmith is more of an "expansion pack."

If you didn't know, after GH1 and GH2, they didn't jump straight to GH3, they released GH: Rocks the 80s, which was an 80s-tunes expansion pack with the exact same gameplay as GH2 (only with no bonus songs).

So GH3 is the 4th GH game, already. And Aerosmith will be the 5th GH game.

And so what we're talking about here is GH4, the next FULL GH game, which will be the 6th GH game.

We are not solely basing this on the future Aerosmith game. We know that will occur. We are basing this on the next Guitar Hero that will feature a compilation of songs.
And by the way, I think Blitzkreig Bop by the Ramones would make a fantastic addition.
