Iv'e only played a bit of Halo 3, but from playing the others I would have to say COD4.

I'm going with Call of Duty 4, I've not played the story for any of the Halos but from what I hear, they kind of suck, so eh. I kind of liked the CoD 4 story, though it was a little pointless when you get to the end, lol.

Only bought it because I liked CoD 2.

I own both, and I have to say both.

It's hard to prefer the either one because both of them are very superb games. They are actually both of my favorite games.

Call of Duty 4 gets very frustrating but it's a fun game in Search and Destroy. Also the single player rocks.

Halo 3 is fun, a lot of my friends play it on Live, and I love the forge and custom games in the game.

If you're going to post a this or that thread at least give a good opinion about either one insead of throwing in a random popular game just to say that Cod is the best anyway. Personally i thought the Call of Duty campaign was awesome apart from the fact that they cut it off so short at the end and the multiplayer isn't anything special.

Halo i think is an excellent game, the multiplayer is addictive because of it's awesomeness and the forge option is brilliant, it isn't much of a leap from halo 2 but i still think it's great.

heres my take on this epic game battle, and please dont be ignorant and say "stfu fag HALO3 teh pwnzorz ur mom!"

cod4 is great single and multi but the game was specifically designed for multiplayer actions
examples: Great internet connection, wondrful graphics,and quick paced matches.

Halo3 is great ebcause of its many multiplayer options and its added weapons and maps
halo3 offers a scifi feel letting the player know you can blow a person up with a plasma pistol

Id go with cod4 because of the realiticality and because i think halo3 had way too much hype.

Well, they're both strong in different areas.

Halo 3 is more fun if you just want to mess around, more customizable games and more content.
CoD is obviously more realistic and more tactical.

Both have very fun multiplayers and the campaigns are both strong.

Mark my words ; Don't ever compare realism to games. You know why? COD4 is not realistic, AT ALL. You can't reload perfectly everytime, you can't continue to walk after being shot. The list goes on. You don't feel the pain they do. And unless you have used every one of those gun sin COD4, you can't say anything about realism, because there is nothing to compare it too.

Halo 3 was hyped up. But the thing is, people still play it now. Perhaps is not the best game ever, but neither is COD4. They are both good in their own right. Want to see the trend?
1.First you buy Halo3 - "Wow, awesome game! This will never get old!"
2.Then COD4 - "Wow, awesome game! This is better than Halo and won't get old!"
3.Then COD4 pisses you off - "Wow, crap game. I'll go back to Halo"
4.Then Halo pisses you off - "Wow, what a load of bullshit, lets play COD4"
5. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until =
A) A better game comes out.
B) You get bored of playing Video Games.

i think call of duty for might be better in the fact that in halo i get pissed becuz i have to wait to drain your shield to kill you but in call of duty 4 if i find you ill just shoot the f*ck out of you and ull probably fall flat on the ground but in halo you can just find somebody shoot ,wait like 10-15 minutes till your oponnent's shields is drained and then shoot him down, i bet that while your playing it would be a great idea to grab a rubber band put it in the right trigger and leave it shooting for a while and in the mean time you can go take a dump, make yourself a feast , go to the movies , graduate , get married and then when your in your honeymoon you hear "you have taken the lead" GAMEOVER" but besides that halo is an awesome game.
