NG won't ever get an edit button for the forums because:

1) It could and would be abused by people who wish to spam and interupt the nature of a thread
2) If you are unwilling to edit and monitor your own posts its a reflection on yourself. Take the time to proof read them.
3) There isn't a programmer working for this site that wants the hastle of programming an edit button, so its not happening.
