I'm gunna give you a hesitant congratulations. Not all that sure that you actually built that rig though, but I'm not one to point fingers. Nice job man
Shit man I nearly fried some parts doing it myself. It is fun and quite simple if you actually look at it. It is the software I am going to have trouble installing since I am not much of a computer junkie. I am a more of a gear head putting stuff together.
And why don't you think I put it together?

Well, you didn't know exactly what your CPU was and you didn't know what size memory your RAM was. It's all good man, I believe you. I forget shit all the time with my fried brain.

Hell I don't need to know shit in order to put stuff together. :P
Plus everything is labeled for me where to put things. Doesn't take a genius to read a manual.

What'd you have prior to the one you just built?

Oh I regret buying a laptop from HP. It was an HP Pavilion dv4000. Couldn't upgrade anything for jack shit.
So I decided on customizing a desktop. I got free parts from a government friend of mine.

the video card was salvaged off an older Dell pc (i put the card in it as an upgrade) in intend to get a 96 series nvidia card at some point, and to be honest i may invest in better ram at some point but its not urgent, and yeh the case for me was something ive wanted for ages and its nice to have the inbuilt temp monitor (cpu hasnt go above 35C yet :D )

I have a very old computer:
256mb RAM
14.2 Gig Hard drive
Pentium 3 CPU, 500 megahertz
Unknown graphics/sound/pcu/pci chips
2 Ethernet chips
It was free, I ain't complaining. Running Windows ME, which totally SUCKS! I'm eventually going to shell out for a decent computer w/ several gigs of ram and a few terrabytes of memory, and an intel pentium core duo.

Is a terrabyte even necessary I doubt I will even fill a quarter of my hard drive

Oh that sucks. How'd you get free parts? The agency or whatever the hell he works for was throwin out a bunch of shit?

You can upgrade laptops?
Can't you? I mean...the store where I got it says I can add RAM for a couple of bucks... (plus...I have RAM I'm gonna sell from a friend...)
Don't tell me you can't replace the video cards...CPU?

Pulled some muscle by helping him replace windows :P. That was way worth it plus he is a friend. Government doesn't give free stuff in America. (unless you are on welfare)

My laptop is better than that.
And you're unsure what the CPU and RAM actually is despite the fact you built it.
Hmmm...
