I, for one, support the "many worlds" theory and its implication that there is an alternate universe that mimics a work of fiction for an infinite of works of fiction, but it's only true if you assume that different parallel universes can develop different laws of physics and different laws of nature. See what I've written here:
This idea is based on two assumptions. One, that an infinite amount of alternate universes exist, each with changes varying from slight to radically different. Two, that radically different universes can have different laws of physics.

If there are an infinite amount of universes, then there are an infinite amount of permutations of reality. If the assumptions is true, than everything that can ever be imagined (assumption 2 says that some universes and therefore an infinite amount of universes have different laws of physics, so forget about our own universe's concept of possibility) can, will, and has already happened in some other universe.

According to this idea, not only can anything happen, but everything has happened. Every story ever told and all of the stories that can ever be told already exist as reality in an alternate universe.
