So i recently broke up with my first love. Oh well, NG is not a place for pity and love stories. But its something we all go through at some point in our lives. And those that have been through it know its not easy. But how did you guys get over it? What did you guys do to ease the pain and just move on to another girl?

Theres a relationship thread? Lol i been away from NG for quite awhile. Anyway this thread isnt really about the relationsjhip just what steps each person did to get over their pain...Just to see how different people handle situations.

Me and my first love broke up yesterday (well 2 days ago as it's just after midnight) late at night and decided to go for a walk around the countryside where I live. I was so cut up about it and she regretted it and asked me out again. Made me so happy to have her by my side again despite it only being an hour or so of being broken up.

Eventually, time apart just made things easier. It was a slow process, but eventually I started thinking about her less and less until I went for months without thinking about her. Now she's just a memory that I don't really dwell on.

no i didnt break up with her for another girl...im asking what everyone did to move on so they can eventualyl go out with another girl after they move on.

well I can tell you that being friends with a GF after breaking up with one is not a good idea. I don't think there is any way of avoiding the pain that comes with a break up with anyone close to you, just endure the pain, I usually tell myself that it will pass, and that the grass is always greener. That usually works for me.
