I actually like the icon, but only when it sits happily with the other icons. I can't tell you how awful it is to find the icon among all the other crazy icons that people come up with. The Adobe icons are simple enough to be color-coordinated, big, and simply labeled.

I have something to say. The Flash logo looks more professional. And I actually do think of Flash when I see the letters "fl". And won't we all think of Flash when we see that soon anyway? When Macromedia changed the Flash logo from the swirly thing to the circle "f" logo, everybody had to get used to it. I'm sure there were arguments like this one where people were raging how they think the previous logo is better. Then once the new logo was around for a while, people got used to it and got to like it. I think this is going to repeat itself everytime a logo change happens.

Wow, gradient with the letters 'fl' in white.
Although I'm just saying this because I'm used to the other Flash logo.

Yeah, fuck simplicity. They'll be coming up with a logo which is just a yellow letter on a red background next, or something.

Seriously, if you want to see a terrible logo, look at the 2012 Olympics one.

Sometimes you don't need to whore every filter you can to get an effective logo.

i like the Logo, it fits very well with the product

used to hate it, but ir seems- alright. Its not THAT bad. It looks quite modern but very simple. Check out this very realistic fake I made in fireworks, although I couldn't find a font with a curly lower case l like they used: (They probanly used there own program to make the logo)

Anyway, to all you who say that they all match, why couldn't they have added some more style to it? On top of that, why 'Fl'? Why not just 'F'?
