Nah, I think it's cool that you're able to get absorbed in a game like that. I think Fallout 3 was probably one of the last games that was able to have a similar effect on me. I wonder if it's because I'm getting older or because I have less free time, but I rarely seem to be able to invest a lot of time in a game.
Right now I'm still playing through LA Noire, Final Fantasy VII and Mass Effect. Playing multiple games at once seems to be working for me. Usually I just focus on one game at a time and end up getting bored but this is a nice way to keep my interest up, since if I start to get tired of one game I just switch to something else for a while.
LA Noire is great though. It has been about a year and a half since I last played it and I'm glad I decided to pick up a new copy. Definitely one of the games that I felt was more unique this generation.
