Well, you're really going to have to soldier your way through the first 20-30 hours before you start enjoying the game. You'll find that your character moves very slowly and the combat system takes a while to get used to. A lot of your attacks will miss in the beginning which makes combat really annoying and tiresome. There's no fast travel option and very little dialogue is spoken so expect a lot of reading.
However, once you get passed this phase, the game gets better. I agree with the commonly heard statement that the plot is superior to that of Oblivion's. It's way more intriguing. Also, levelling up your character and making him stronger feels more rewarding in Morrowind. Levelling up is difficult in the beginning, but once your character gets strong you'll feel like you've worked hard for that and earned it.
All in all I still preferred Oblivion though, but I think Morrowind is worth a play.

I only played a bit of the beginning of it, but I had a blast beating the sequel. I want to buy both of the games at some point. There are a lot of PS1 and PS2 games that I want to collect.
I guess the reason i thought it was an obscure game was because i've never met anyone who had played the game, looks like a was wrong
The new found addiction known as Fire Emblem Awakening on 3DS
I have trouble putting down fire emblem awakening now. Such a great game. It's hard for me to want to take a break from playing it.
I finished Sleeping Dogs. That game should have been longer. It seems that you can't replay missions, which if true, is pretty lame.
I got started with Kirby Return to Dreamland. So far, it's too easy. Maybe the difficulty will pick up a bit. And I'm probably gonna get back into Dragon's Dogma soon, and probably Crysis 2 as well.
Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends
i have no idea why i hate that game but im addicted to it
I finished Quake recently. Just started roaming through the first expansion pack, so far it seems better than the original game, more detailed levels. Also some pretty confusing levels, they're like mazes..
I recently found my Transfer Pack for the N64 at home, so I decided to go give Pokemon Stadium 2 another play. It's one of the few N64 games I own that I've never fully beaten, and the game had been collecting dust for about 10 years now.
Despite having played it a lot as a kid, I don't remember the game being all that good. However, now that I look at it again, it seems like it was actually a very worthwhile extension for the second gen Gameboy games. The game offers quite a lot of new and convenient things and the tournaments require a whole different strategy than how you'd normally play in the gameboy games.
Aside from that, I'm also still playing Skyrim and Morrowind. I'm eager to wrap Morrowind up though, but I still only seem to be about halfway into the main quest.

The recent releases of the DLC on the PS3 would be a good time as ever to go back to it. I'm really tempted but I'm already thinking of either getting Arkham City or going through Just Cause 2 for the second time (to try and get platinum trophy) and yet my time is mostly occupied on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Somehow I feel I am less available to play video games nowadays. I should try and fix that.

I doubt I'll get the DLC on the PS3. My plan is to buy skyrim on the pc someday, as well as all the DLC on the pc.
Borderlands 2 on my xbox 360. I mainly run my Axton build. It's all about the DPS! :P Anyone else enjoying Borderlands 2?

So I finished Cold Fear and started playing through Shadow Of Rome. Decent game so far. The action sequences are good in terms of mindless fun and violence while the stealth parts are pretty good since they're actually fairly intelligent and more than just "sneak here, sneak there" which is what I was expecting.
