Although to be honest, MGS4 is the only thing appealing about the PS3 for me at the moment, and is definitely not worth buying a whole console over.

True, but then again, it's a console built on promises. They'll have to release a selection of good games sooner or later.

No, it will get an Add-on drive, the same as HD-DVD did. Games will not be put into production for it.

blu-ray dvd drive, not games.
xbox will always just be able to play dvd games, not hddvd, not blu-ray.. just dvd.

they could cut the graphics down A LOT to fit it on 2 discs then release it, if they did that the game would be out in 2009 sometime.
