Well, I think it's best to rip the band-aid off now, so.....

- Story takes place after Sonic '06
- Sonic can transform into a werewolf
- Yet another new character will be introduced
- Gameplay will change between levels
- Platform still unknown

Another bland, useless character that shows that Sega hates Sonic? Exciting!

Gameplay video of one of the levels that has screenshots. It's pretty low quality, but it kind of gives a feel of what the gameplay might be like. It scares me that I'm even a little bit excited for this game, since Sega doesn't have a great track record for sonic games of late.

I can't believe everyone's saying it's gonna be for the Wii, geez, wee all know the Wii (aka Gamecube) couldn't handle the graphics.

Admittedly I enjoyed the Sonic and Shadow bits. It was the other characters that really bothered me. Specifically the Knuckles and Rouge crystal finding levels. They were just horrendous and I can't for the life of me understand how Sega could allow something so poor into their biggest franchise. What kind of vapid ignoramus was playtesting the game and honestly thought that those levels were something worthy of what should be an AAA title. I had enough patience for them when I could beat them on a single shot, but Sega had to make them timed. Hey guys, I just thought of something. Super Sonic is always featured at the end of each Sonic game, right? According to these screenshots, Super Sonic gets his ass handed to him and becomes Wolf Sonic. Does that mean that Wolf Sonic will replace him?

If that's true...then...then....I just don't think I can deal with it. :(

All the games other than sonic 1, 2, 3, sonic pinball, sonic and knuckles and the sonic game on the computer crystal something sucked.

You'll either collect shit and have enough to transform for a little while, or collect shit and transform for as long as you want so long as you don't use too much "dark energy".

At first, when I saw the screen shots, I thought this might be good!
But when I found out about weresonic...
I dunno now. Its like eating a tasty cake and realizing it is poisoned. A big let down.

I'm not basing my assumption on the storyline.
I like many games with a paper thin or shitty story.
I'm basing it on how horrible the last 2 3D sonic games were:
Shadow, and the XB360 sonic.

Sonic is meant to run at the speed of sound, which is around 780MPH, yet in the games he runs around 100MPH.

Why is that?
