Well to be fair I've been on for a lot of today, and it's been fairly spammy, but not as bad as I thought. A few got blammed, but I can still count the KK flashes that did pass using just my hands. No toes needed.

Unless of course it's the calm before the shitstorm.

There is still more spam for today than we have had for pretty much the entire week. I think there must be more to come though, its still early in the day here.

That's true. I keep forgetting that due to time zones the U.S. users (aka the majority of NGers) are mostly offline. I mean it's early over there, it's 5pm here in Ireland.

Its 5 in England too but most of the spam is submitted in the evening.. Lots of people are busy untill gone 6..

Yeah. If it is that early in parts of the US then I think that we can assume that the levels of spam can only rise over the next 12 hours..

I would even think of this as spam...Apart from the loop at the end.
There is enough effort gone into this which make the first 30 seconds a passable flash.

I read a post in General where someone posted in a KK thread something along the lines of "Just 5 everything for easy point, everyone does it". Makes me very angry that people are this desperate for protection points that they won't watch the damn thing before voting.

What's worse is the collective IQ of the people who posted "lol Rickroll" as a review. Seriously, was Rick Astley's name in the Audio part under the author name not a dead giveaway? Speaking for myself, I always check out these little details. It's just a pity a lot of NG cannot do likewise.

I agree. A lot of people are voting high on the spam because they have seen that most of the KK spam is passing judgement. They then vote high so that they can get a few extra save points despite the fact that it is clearly spam! This plus people telling others to vote 5 in forums (like you said) just makes it worse.

I saw the flash a year(s) ago. This really should have something done about it. If only wade would just step up and delete the crap, we'd be in a much better situation.

Surfing eh? Can't say I've ever done that, mostly because I live nowhere near an ocean.... but still it sounds like a good bit o' fun.

When I was in Vietnam, I snorkeled and was on the jet ski for awhile, i wished I had the opportunity to surf though, it looks like fun.

Yea I did some snorkeling down at the Cayman Islands when I went on a cruise last summer which was pretty neat. That's about the extent of my ocean experiences though.

Guys, if there ever was a time to start working on your whistle it would be now. Yesterday I was Garbage, today I'm Bronze! There's also a guy I saw on Rage's for the last few days who was Garbage on Tuesday and is already Silver! I'm not sure why, but now seems to be the time to rack up whistle points (especially for you thatb still have Garbage).

Sounds like a good idea to me. Considering that the EGB requires a minimum of a Normal whistle, and most discharged NGPD members will wind up there, it should really have a more prominent place around here.

Speaking purely for myself, I'm only flagging these kind of reviews nowadays:

-"BLAM THIS!!!" and similar reviews.
-"STOLEN"/"You thief" reviews.
-Anything that offensively insults the reviewer "you faggot", "I hope you die" etc.
-Flooding reviews e.g. "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL..." for half a page.

Of course there are others, but I try and stick to this as much as possible since these ones are 100% abusive and will always be deleted by the review mods.
