Last night I got the Blam message three times before I went to bed... A good night for me. So far I've seen that message 6 times for my own vote, and the corresponding save message only once. How many times has each of you seen "Congratulations! You just destroyed someone else's hard work! This Flash has been blammed."?

Yes. When your vote to Blam is the last vote needed to send a submission to the Obituaries, you see that message. There used to be an animation too from what I've heard, that you saw when you got that last vote, but the admins took it down with the redesign. It's still at NG Archive though.

Also, that used to be the only way to get Blam Points: to get that last vote. That was before the NGPD and EGB existed though, in the days of the Blam Club.

Yes I believe that you get the message if you are the last person to blam the flash. I have seen it 8 times total. Never seen the protect counterpart tho.

Well, it's kinda like "Congratulations! Your vote was the last one needed to protect this submission." or something. I only got it once myself. You'd think with the number of submissions saved that I'd get that one more often, and that you would have gotten it at least once... But then I remember that most of us in the NGPD aren't savewhores, and that we're more likely to vote to Blam submissions and miss out on the point, than to vote without watching for a Save and risk helping something pass that we don't feel is right for NG.

Yea I have been reviewing the people that say they would like to join, and all tho it is not a requirement I always take a look at there save to blam ratio. ( I also keep my reviewing to myself so i do not offend Tails). One day I will see that lovely text and when I do, im going to post it just because it will make me feel all fuzzy inside.

I've seen the blam message about 17 times.

I don't know if that's really all that important, or even a good indicator of voting habits. Maybe they're just naturally "nicer" to the submissions than you or me. Or maybe they got most of their points on Clock Day or something. Back when I hit Town Watch in December, for example, I had more than twice as many Saves as Blams, courtesy of Daily Day.

I'm pretty sure it's OK to just review them, and give a recommendation based on your own opinion so that Tails and Penitent can have a report from another officer.

Yes this is true, its not a big factor, but still something I like to see. It also is fine to make recommendations, I just choose not to. Tails and I were having a conversation about that a page or so back.

Ok I have a great idea that I think every one will enjoy a little bit. On the NGPD website there is a
members list. ( I hope every one already knows that.) Each member has a ordered number next to there
name. This basically counts how many members we have. What if instead of a ordered number, we get
a 3 digit "badge" number. Tails or another ranking officer could a sign them, OR let us pick our 3 digit
number. If this idea is taking into action and we get to choose our own I got first dibs on 420.

i kinda like that idea just for the hell of it. about the saluting thing i think that here we are a little more lax than the EGB but i could be wrong.

It's not even really required there. It's often done though, and is considered polite. But it's not a bad idea to do it sometimes here too.
