After taking a look through a decent chunk of the thread, thanks in part to Sheizenhammer's Post on "This is Your Final Chance.", I'd say I would love to join up.

My only issue is that I realize my credentials are not up to par. 6/50 BBS posts (a couple of which not of decent length, 7 including this one), 14 Blams/Saves... all since I joined Jan 27 of '09. Add that to the fact that I don't really have the determination to get up off my lazy ass to actually do crap.

I guess I'll try to contribute what I can... but until then, not even I can make any promises. :/

"Author"'s account was created today and already has two submissions. While I can't find the exact source of this submission, I managed to find a fairly similar one at http://www.santabanta.com/games.asp?gameid=1555... which seems to have a "Santa Banta" watermark at the top left, and has some of the same graphics and level mapping. Grounds for blam / whistle, I dunno. Skimpy author's comment is grounds for suspicion too. Note, same author has also posted to Kongregate.

Using a quick Google search with "Super Robo Killer!" turns up nothing, however. My suspicion is mostly raised from a four-word author comment, and from the user himself.

Again, nothing definitive, just suspicious.

Any help is good in are fight against the crap that sometimes get's submitted into The Portal. You don't have the needed stats or post quality to be a member, this is true. However there is nothing stopping you from helping and the only real difference between you and a member will be that you don't appear on the roster (which hasn't taken place since December anyway) and I don't think you can have an account on the private forums.

This really wasn't a secret. It was discussed on this thread and you would've been aware of it had you lurked a little. And I don't get why you're assuming the worst out of our intentions for this shift - it's not like this has never happened before for the same reason.

They all pretty much died off. Clock Crew still show their heads on Clock Day, don't see much of them on any other day. Haven't seen a Kitty Krew flash in weeks, myself. Right now, the biggest problem in the portal is those cookie-cutter shovelware games.

Why don't you two just co-write a script together, or if we go for what Tails has written you just both crdit yourself as the writers. My offer to be a voice actor is still avaliable whenever it is done and also if there is any need for some art give me a PM.

All this talk of scripts and such reminded me that I still have my old story of my time here lying in the back burner,recycling bin to be exact. Might resurrect it since I love how nostalgic the thing makes me.

Listen you say? What bizarre nonsense is this? Seriously though, you guys really need to sort out on who is doing what. So much shit is jumbled together at this point its hard to say whats the bottom line of the idea. There's multiple scripts floating around and if its brain storming I get it, since you can't jump on the first idea you have.

We already have an animator and we already have a script (which I re-posted here). Let's all review it and lets all agree on it and most importantly, lets get it animated. Once we agree on the script, we'll agree on the cast of voice actors, record, animate and release.

I don't know, Tails posted a news post a week ago that said he was starting to grow distant from the site, this is nothing new to us but I guess we will be seeing even less of him now. I really want to keep this place alive though, all we can really do is try and post here as often as possible and new members will come.
