Actually we don't have any requirements for whistles. On the other hand, it was mighty considerate of you to provide a link for the whistle thread (that's how i got my deity lol). on the topic of whistles, i've always wondered about the levels. i mean, i know how you can level it up, but how many flags does it take to achieve each level. perhaps i've overlooked something in the faq, but perhaps not.

There's no specific number, we don't know, but we've had guesses.

About 50 to Bronze.
About 100 to Silver.
About 250 to Gold.
About 500 to Deity.

But again, we can't be sure.

Always good to see that message. I just saw it tonight, on a short and crappy loop of Sonic jumping over a pit of spikes. As of now, I've seen that message 4 times, and its protect counterpart once. I don't know if it's because the vast majority of my votes are to Blam, or if it's because there are 4 opportunities to Blam a movie and only one to be the last vote on a Save, or if it's both.

It's very likely that a lot of people complained to Wade. And for serious crimes like those of betty (it was actually a stolen account, stolen by usernamed; and there were crimes of spamming, massive abuse of the review system that got my alt KittyKrew-Moderator a Bronze whistle, and the whole "spamming userpages" bit), it only takes one voice reaching Wade's ear with a complaint to get the account deleted. I remember something similar happening with the second wave of Kberkag, around Martin Luther King Jr. Day, where I e-mailed Wade to get a number of spam accounts stolen my another user deleted.
