Most likely the thread. After all, it ended up being pretty crappy in the end. Wade himself went in and warned them, but no, they wouldn't listen... For that alone they deserved the lock. Well, I personally don't think it should have been locked..The chances are that anyone who has anything more than a bronze whistle achieved it via Rage's Gift, and that's depriving the newer users of equaling the older ones in that regard. Maybe the thread will be made again in a year, or something...

Another way they could have made it better was to only allow Deity Whistle users to post links. That way, the quality of links are better, and we're all happy :)

I'm just kinda pissed off because 2 hours before it was locked, I flagged a bunch of reviews, and went back down to Garbage :(

Nah, im talking about the reviews themselves. Yes, it was good (I partially got my deity thanks to them) and it served a "Clean up the site" ideal, but we've more or less had this discussion already.
Because of people's idea of what constitutes spam(NOTICE THAT I CAN SWITCH SPAM IN FOR ABUSIVE REVIEWS!), people linked shit that wasnt abusive/spammy and now we bought the bounce. I suppose it's down to people to just flag them. You wont get negatives for flags that havent been cleared, im assuming, but maybe if enough people stumble upon it, we wont need a thread for it.

Oh, yes. All 4 deities. Kidding, but its not like everyone's got one. Does anyone else here have one? Not to brag, but I think I may be the only one. Now, if it were golds and deities, maybe. But then people would benefit off of the hard work of others and then, with a false sense of what is abusive or not, the people who benefit would then start posting what they think is abusive. Sucks to hear about your whistle, though. If you want, if you find anything abusive, drop me a PM and i'll help you flag it, cause I know garbage is a bitch, and the odds of someone coming across that same Flash/Review is pretty slim.

Ftr, I was only saying I was the only Deity here to contrast the gap between Deities and Non-Deities. I know im not the only one.

I don't thank it's fair to the animator's flash to just ignore the abusives...we should still do our part to search for 'em, ESPECIALLY in the spam submissions, just in case there are newbies dropping off "Go die in a fire" reviews.

You're pretty active in the portal, got the right badge, and your posts are above average so I you're qualified to join in my books. I also see that you're a member of the NGDD, which is great! We do, however, have a phase 2 in our recruitment process before you can call yourself an official member, called the "apprenticeship". In short, it's a 1 week probation where as long as you stay active in the thread, you should pass and become a full-fledged member of the NGPD.

If you haven't done so already, I strongly encourage you to take a look at the 1st page as well as the NGPD FAQ (in my sig) to answer any questions you may have about this crew. With that out of the way, welcome to the Newgrounds Police Department, hope you find this place to your liking. BTW, I'm Tails, the head honcho around here. Pleasure to meet you, officer! :D

I know it's late but I just want to get my opinion down about Rage's thread, sad business that was. After all that time it was brought down by the very statwhores who need it most. I must mention that I owe my gold to the thread, but I got it just before the thread was whored out. Still, it is a shame. Now, to business, no roster today, tomorrow but not today, big exam to study for. Teacher's a hard ass and gives us exams that would take four hours to do well on, but he only gives us two and a half hours to finish. I expect I'll be the first in a while to get a decent grade on it, must study though.

Yeah i will have a look at the NGPD FAQ's when i get home. I'll post back when i get home.
It will be a more detailed post i promise.

Update: I've come back home and i have read over the FAQ's, i understand them fully and i shall not do anything it says on there. I shall never flame or mass-vote or anything.

So apart from that I'd just like to say, i hope this week goes fast so then i can call myself a dedicated member of the NGPD!
Just one question though. In the FAQ's it says this "What's this (# / #) tag on my name? Does it have to do with my Apprenticeship?" I understand that it is the date i joined, but how would that go onto my name?

Basically, Lizardis, to be a good member you have to contribute. If you notice a spammer on the Portal, a series of bad reviews, stolen IP or something of the like, just let us know. Now, that doesn't mean we expect you to always be running in here with a new spam-o-refic story every five seconds. Heck, if we were al like that, where would be the room for Tails? :) But seriously, just keep your B/P up, try to engage in some of our sdialogue, the more ridiculous the better(sometimes) and overally enjoy yourself! As long as you don't do something stupid say oh I don't know raid the NGPD armor and weaponry warehouse than you should be fine...
