Hey guys, I wish to join, like I have wished to join twice now. So will you accept me, what exactly do I have to do?

Just read the FAQ. There are three main parameters for joining. The first one, and the most important is your Blam and Protect rank. Yours is correct right now. The second is having a postcount of fifty or above. You pass this too, in fact, your postcount is far higher than fifty. The third is the one that the most people fail at, it's post quality, in my opinion you would pass this with flying colours, but your most recent page is quite low quality. When I dig a few pages in I see some great posts. You're going to have to wait for Tails to review it himself before he can put you through to the next stage of induction. The aforementioned stage is called apprenticeship. In this short period (one week) Tails observes your contribution to the thread and if he's impressed you're inducted into the force. Just remind him when it's been a week and he should give you a brief explaination as to whether you passed or not. It all seems like a lot, though it really isn't at all, my apprenticeship didn't last long at all.

Ok good times. A few of my recent posts are short and usually just pointing out how much people fail. Nevertheless, I am confident you will find some good posts.

Well since Mw's already explained it, quite articulately, might I add, I'll just go ahead and do my evaluation of him.

Post Count: Awesome, it'll probably be the highest in the NGPD yet if he joins.

Rank: Great, he'd almost be gone by the time his apprenticeship ends (no offense).

And here's the part where you all get blown out the water, Post Quality: Look, I'm not gonna bother with sugar-coating it or giving the average "I can't say mine's any better," bull, so I'll just give the short and short of it. His post quality is quite far from being great, but most of them do contribute to the topic, but only a handful are longer than just one line.

Overall, I would let him in if I had the ability, but seeing as though I don't, I merely suggest that he could finally be let in. And even if you don't condone his earning of an apprenticeship, he would be gone in not too long (again Tom, no offense), anyway.

Um, first thing you should do is take a look at the 1st page.
But in a nutshell: Minimum Portal Security and at least 50 good (quality) posts.

Hey guys, hope y'all had a good Christmas! I'm too busy/lazy/addicted to FM2009 and synching my new MASSIVE IPOD to stick around long enough for a catch-up post, but I did a quick read over what I missed (you're all gun nuts btw ;P)

Hope all of you here at the NGPD had a great Christmas and will hopefully have a wonderful New Year.

I SUPPOSE. I got a new black DS, and with it came Tom Clancy's Endwar (for the DS, but it's still pretty damn good), a new coin-counting piggy bank, two Billabong shirts, an Element shirt, a Quiksilver shirt, two Etnies shirts, and a nice new pair of Levis.

I'm pretty content with what I got.

Endwar? Oddly, I think I would assume it's a good game for some reason. Maybe because of Advance Wars being a pretty good tactical war game for the ds, and they copied (not a bad thing!) the formula. Damn, I kinda wish I had my own private pig banker, with today's economy. Billabong, Element, Etnies...do you surf, skate or snowboard? And Levis are awesome pants.

Yeah, I'd have to agree it does have the same feel to it as AW (I used to play my friends ALL THE TIME lol). If you don't already have it, I'd recommend getting it.

Well, come to think of it, that is a pretty nice added bonus with it, but I've had this old giant Crayola when since I was six or seven, so that was my main reason for wanting one. (Already got about thirty dollars in there! :3)

Thank you for accepting me. Admittedly I do become Private soon, but if I go to the Elite Guards I can say I was part of this. I am greatfull for finding substance and quality in some of my posts and I my self intend to improve on one liners etc... while I rarely troll topics or am abusive.

Tails makes a great sacrifice for the sake of the NGPD; he keeps himself as a police-ranked user so as to remain as the head of this fine establishment. So in other words, it's unlikely Tails'll rank out any time soon, if ever. He's more than happy to encourage our statwhore spirit though :P

If Tails ever decides to rank up (and that's a major "if", since he's not going anywhere anytime soon), I'm sure he'll have a Unit Ops or something waiting to take over as Commissioner the moment he leaves. But like everyone is saying, he's not ranking up anytime soon.

Wow, I never knew that. Surely, though, if he was so devoted to B/Ping, he could have just made an alt to look after the club. I thought it would be a practical solution..

It's a good idea, the account should have a "Police Captain" rank (the highest in the "police" ranks). But who would B/P for that instead of doing it for his own account?
