What in your oppinion is the best game you ever played?? It could be due to storyline, gameplay, graphics (ugh, I cant stand people who play games just for graphics).

My favorite game would have to be.... FFX simply because it had an awesome storyline that i admit made me cry at the end. No i haven't played FFVII because they are too damn hard to find these days.

Audiosurf because of endless possibilities for game play and awesome graphics when I can play on max detail.

I might have to say Halo 2, and Halo 3 on XBL. As far as fun, laughing out loud, and just having a good old time, it's hard to beat. I prefer online games when you play with other people. I don't care for just playing against the computer, it feels so lonely. :)

COD4 is great too, but Halo has more laughs. Gears of War on XBL is a lot of fun too and had funny moments as well.

Just, fantastic, the Co-op was so much fun I literally completed that game over and over. Maybe I'm just a sucker for giant, walking metal gear-esque robots that turn into cars, but something about that game really captured me.

Not to mention the amazing multiplayer mode, defending your little base and sending out tanks and copters, you had your own little personal army that you had to escort and protect all the while looking out for your base aswell.

The party's alright I might want to stop drinking

What were we talking about?

I'm not sure about the best game of all time, but the best games that I've played recently are Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Super Mario 64. It is simply a masterpiece. Nothing before or since comes close. A work of art, really. That and it's the first videogame I can remember playing.

Metal Gear Solid.

Yeah, boring choice, since it's everyone's favourite game. Love it party due to it being awesome, and partly due to the nostalgia associated with it, especially the bit where Grey Fox goes "HURT ME MORRRRRE".

Halo: Combat Evolved blew me away when it first came out. I was introduced to a whole new sci-fi game that had an interesting plot that I could follow. It was also revolutionary at the time, perfecting concepts such as regenerating health, holding 2 weapons at a time, adaptive and smart enemy A.I, vibrant and masterful music that enhanced the gameplay, unforgettable enemies, and a bunch more. The multiplayer was just OKAY on the PC, but the single player amazed me, even though I spent probably 5 hours of my whole life back tracking my way across the bland level environments.

Halo 3 was also very cool too. It had its funny and awesome moments, such as killing someone who JUST instantly stole a flag from your elephant with a spartan laser from across the map. The graphics and the environments were a huge improvement from the other games. Also the multiplayer is more fun on Halo 3, and the return of a more powerful assault rifle made it even better.

Call of Duty 4 is simply a masterpiece. I was always looking forward to a modern warfare game that would perfect the sub-genre to its limits. I didn't know that Infinity Ward could pull off such a feat, after I had lots of fun with Call of Duty 2's WW2 single player game.

Now I can only make a list:

Gears of War
Starcraft
Warcraft 3
Counter-Strike: Source
The Orange Box

I may have to break it up into catergories right now:

Game from Childhood: Vectorman
Cult Classic: Shadowrun for Genesis
Favorite Multiplayer Game: Tie Between Halo 2 (which is better than Halo 3), and SSBM
Story: XenoSaga (First would have to be best)
Favorite Game overall: The Orange Box (or to pick one of the games, HalfLife 2)
Currently Playing: Army of Two

Nobody knows what I'm talking about, but it is certainly as fun as Doom II, which is the best game ever.

Its got to be TS2. Sure i don't play it nowadays, but when it first came out i was on it day in day out for longer than i can remember. It just never EVER seemed to get boring playing Virus with my brother. Then secondly, its Final Fantasy IX - I just love every single thing about this game.

Jetpack, same idea, but with a (unsurprisingly) jetpack. It's been a while since I played it, but what I most remember is that your character's death animation was one of the best ever. He basically exploded into a fine, red mist. It never ceased to be amusing.
