So far so good, a small part of me expected this forum to fail miserably in a sea of fanboys and arguing, but it's actually turned out to be a great place and so far I'm enjoying it more than General I dare say.

Here's hoping that it can stay this way.

I happen to agree. I've decided not to add any additional topics to my list from this forum unless the thread really persuades me otherwise. Clubs & Crews are really the most "official" I'll talk about this specific topic topics. As far as I'm concerned the only threads that should be condensed are those talking about gamer tagnames, tournaments that users want to run (I'm sure we'll see some of those soon [hint hint wink wink {no you're doing it not me}]), and perhaps a console wars topic which has already been created.

Anything else and conversation will stagnate, threads will be boring, and no one will really be communicating. Plus, the forum won't have any sense of unity, the individual threads will. :/

This new forum has been a breath of fresh air. I wonder how long it will remain orderly. I am concerned that there will be too many "favorite" topics. Oh well I think I will enjoy posting here and it will take a load off the general. Finally a place for us NGers who are VG fanboys to just hang out.

Not only is this forum not completly unorganizied, but it isn't bathed in rants, flaime wars, noobs and other annoying spamfests.

I am not currently playing any games, but I do own a shittload of games.

My favorate game series's are; Resident evil, the suffering, Zelda, Mario bros, Paper mario, SSB, Metroid and metroid prime.

And those are just my favorate series.

Really most people say the gamecube failed but personally I like the gamecube more than the Xbox or PS2.

Also add the early sonic, the starflight series, civilization series and the banjo Kazooie series too my list and those are my favorate series's.

The quest for Newgrounds fame through the forums forever drives the uninspired masses to make such things.

I do however marvel at the people who think that since they created an official topic that it makes them the primary authority on that topic. The things they will do to get attention on the internet is always worth the view and the subsequent shaking of the head in pity.

Something useful to know is that every person on the internet is an attention whore at some time or another. It's just that some of us try to do more "noticeable" things when we're in that phase. Those on the NG forums try to make big topics, and in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal, but their goal of being noticed somehow on NG often results in them doing or saying something stupid that gets them attention for the wrong reasons.
