I got a Wii.

Well, it wasn't the Xbox 360 I was hoping for, but at least it's something.

Right now, the only game I have is Wii Sports.

Anyone wanna recommend an awesome game that I could get?

It's really fun and easy to set up.

I've played that game.

Not very fun.

I especially dislike the interactive cinematics.

You know, when you have to press A and B at the same time so that you don't get hit.

And you don't get to go where you wanna go, you only decide which general direction you want to go in.

I'm thinking of getting Brawl, I'm not sure if I should get it yet.

I don´t have a Wii (yet) but some of my friends have wiis and they´re telling me that MK Wii and Super Mario Galaxy are pretty awesome so you might want to take a look at them what do ya say?

What about getting the obvious choices as of late? Mario Kart and Smash Bros?

I've been looking everywhere for cheap official Gamecube controllers, and I can't seem to find them anywhere. eBay has a surplus of knock-offs, but they're still a little expensive for what they are (about £12 for two). Oddly enough, it's cheaper to buy the entire console bundle (I'm currently bidding on a GC with 3 memory cards, 2 official controllers (with extension cords) and seven games) for about £20-£25.
Having never owned a GC, I'm looking forward to playing some of those classic games I missed out on having owned a PS2.

In the other news, I bought, and currently playing, San Andreas on the PC, as I was having the urge for some good ol' GTA.

It's meh, but I like taking over places/stats, so it's alright.

its not bad... its like gta but it has some cool features like mafia rankings. You basically decides how ownership comes about, depending what places you extort or takeover or which mob is at war. I liked it, but it does get boring.

Lots of endless freedom, and of course it keeps to the godfather story for the most part.

It's worth noting that you need to give it more than an hour and continue the story a bit to actually enjoy it, otherwise you'll end up being very aggravated.

So, Who's excited for Fable II. I cant wait. Normally, I never really wait out for a game, I can usually just get whatever I see infront of me, and end up enjoying it... But I'm waiting so eagerly for Fable The Second. How about you guys, Anything you's are hanging out for?

Fable was a really cool game.

Not as interesting as Oblivion, but very close.

But the only reason, IMO, that it was popular among young kids was because it contained some mature additions to parts of the game.

You start out working for a big corporation special strike force, and you get to use special powerups and stuff. Then you switch sides and fight for the rebels you were killing when you realize how evil the corporation is yadda yadda but the real fun is in the gameplay, You get to use two completely different tactics as each side.

Once you tell yourself not to play anything though, suddenly every game starts looking like so much fun to play.
