Hey there, Newgrounds Brawlers! Whether you're already a considerable threat in the Smash Bros. battlefield, or still getting the hang of this frenzy of fisticuffs, I'm fairly sure it's safe to say that everyone playing this game has had their fair share of some pretty enjoyable matches. Nonetheless, one cannot always encounter said matches on a random basis; often, the most memorable adversaries are met through planned and executed meetings, with set dates and times to which all concerned Brawlers attend to display their best.
Thus, in celebrating the creation of the Video Game forum and in continuing the enormous support generated by the official Brawl Friend Code thread, I hereby present to you the BRAWL BATTLE LOUNGE!
Simply put, this Lounge was created as a gathering place for the battle eager, to set up (and hopefully, complete) matches with whomever they so desire to challenge; in addition, it serves as a sort of "commentary" archive, where you can not only comment on how your match went in the end, but also discuss techniques and the like with your fellow Brawl peers. PLEASE NOTE, however, that not all Newgrounders live within the same timezone, so if you place a request for a battle at a specific time (and possibly date), please let others know what time it is in your area at the time your post is made, so that we can effectively calculate when our meeting time is.
That's all fine and dandy, you say, but what about, pray tell, if you don't have any friend codes added to your 64-slot friends list? Not a problem, dear chaps; for those too lazy or unwilling to scrounge through the Brawl Friend Code thread, life has taken it upon himself to do us a GREAT favor and collect all the received Friend Codes into a single blog entry, which can be accessed here. You can also view the codes by accessing this topic.
What more can be said? Get your skills out there, set up some matches, and show Newgrounds (and eventually, the world) what you have to offer!
IT'S BRAWL TIME!!!
