Only played Red alert 2, C and C 3 and Kane's wrath.

Red alert was really fun to play, although the game runs super fast on my comp which can be slightly annoying.

Kane's wrath was fun to play however depsite having 9 playable races, they were basically 3 races and the other 6 were clones of the original 3.

I love the Red alert series specially Yuri's revenge. One think I loved RA2 was the `rism tanks ahhhh....
how I loved that unit.I also liked the apocalypse tank.

Have you ever use an engineer on the ''main building'' and get units from the other faction?
Tried and it's cool to attack with G.Is and conscripts.

I got to know it when my big brother show it to me in his bad computer oh man, it was so slow. Then he show it to my big cousin and his way to play kinda remind f me when I was starting to play: like a n00b.

yah C&C and red alert never gets boring cuz theres always stuff to do in it.
You can never stop experamenting with the possiblities in Red Alert 2, there's always something new to try, and with that comes a whole new strategy!

Ever tried using psychic on a random pedestrian and exploring with him?
What about a mind controlling a school bus, filling it up with troops, and unloading it in the nearest building to the enemies base?
Or forcing your enemy to commit suicide by robbing all his money with a spy, and then killing all his ore trucks?
Or making a whole entire spy army, then moving it into your enemies base? You could even make a whole entire base with spies!

All of those strategies sound awesome!
It's kinda funny the school bus one
Enemies soldiers :Hey !A bunch of kids are coming in an school bus!
(Your soldiers get out of the bus)
Enemies soldiers: Crap...

It's moments like that which made Red Alert 2 so good, it's moments Red Alert 3 can't capture.

Westwood was shut down, therefore the servers--hosted by Westwood, of course--have been shut down.

Anyway, the Red Alert series is orgasmic. Red Alert 2 was the first RTS I ever played, and is still my favorite (and I also love Yuri's Revenge). Renegade was beastly, too, until WW's servers closed.

But.. the C&C series hasn't really felt like C&C ever since Generals. Sure, it was a good game.. it just didn't feel like a Command and Conquer game. I miss the old sprite games. :(

Damnit! I used a similar strategy! I got 12 Ivans and made them plant eachother, then put them all into a hovercraft, then repeated. Chronoed them in and laughed! They unloaded exactly like those demolition tanks!

You can also try to take a civillian vehical and do the same, that way you can just roll it in and their defenses won't detect them.

on another note, I once got a mod for this game that let you use the Eifel towers as attack towers by capture via engineer.

also got RA3, it rules. They should have left the kirov and Apoc tanks voices the same though. I can't have my day of judgement when he doesn't say it anymore!!!

I liked Renegade. I was hoping that you could play as NOD in the campaign, so I was a bit disappointed when I finished that game. Red Alert 2 was fun, and had a really good story, but it looked kinda bad. So I'm gonna get RA3 and see how that goes.

RA3 looks decent, but the story is crap.
Except for the last soviet mission, 6th Allied Mission, and the opening movie for the Empire, the campaign is lifeless and repetitive.

played them all except the expansion to RA3. Tbh, the game sucked story wise, they should have stuck to westwoods idea of merging the to universes to create the ultimate story, instead, the decided to make a cartoonish bloodbath. Without the blood.

All in all, renegade was my favorite. I played MP for months before getting bored, then everyone left.

I <3 C&C
I have:

Command & Conquer(PSP)
Red Alert
Red Alert 2
Red Alert 3: Commander's challenge(Xbox 360)
Zero Hour
Generals

C&C and some of the Warhammer 40,000 games are the only enjoyable RTS' IMO

No more tlaking about the abomination that is C&C Tiberian Wars

It is a slap in the face of Westwood's Premium series.

Generalls wasn't bad, but after that, it was one abortion after the other.

You are completely wrong, TiberIUM Wars was an amazing game, it really was more C&C then Firestorm was, and by the way, I make the thread rules here.

I believe you are thinking about Tiberian Sun?

Where as the new C&C 3 Tiberian Wars was just a case of who can build the most mammoth tanks.

I loved that old game, it was the first game I ever played, ahhhh memories.

I remember having 10-20 OoLs in a campaign where you fight the MARV tanks(it was funny seeing them go down in a few seconds). I should try to build a huge OoL defense in any game and stealth it if I am going against a noob online.

Noob: look, idiot has no defenses.
*shuts down stealth generator/disruption tower, reveals 30 OoL towers, and 30 SAM sites*
Noob: shit *ragequits*.

Well, got TFD, surprised that I kinda enjoyed Generals/ZH(mostly of mods). But I still remember the old games. Anyone beaten the extra missions in TD/RA1?

And has anyone tried to run over someone's shrunk MCV with their own MCV?

C&C 'saga' is better. Its all the games that have been made between 1995 and 2007. And its not really expensive i think.

TIberium wars was pretty good in my oppinion. Red alert 2 was the best game ever, yuris revenge was the best expansion pack ever. Red alert 3 was the most desperate failiure ever. Tiberium twilight... should not be a part of the tiberium searies. They should have cept that searies the same, and introduced crawlers in a different game. Fuck C&C 4, Fuck RA3, bring back westwood.

This sentence is a lie.

I absolutly loved all the Tiberium series but number 3 is my current favorite as of now, I hear the 4th came out recently but i'm a tad bit nervous on if it's going to be better than the 3rd.
