Ugh, im in quite the pickle...

So, I go on facebook a lot, and my dad wanted to see what it was cause he hears about it, so one day I show him and he goes facebook crazy searching for people with the same last name as us. And now he makes a facebook account. And guess what? IM HIS ONLY FRIEND!

So now my dad just freaking monitors my facebook and reads all my information that I put up. And he tells my mom, and my mom thinks im being serious when I say jokes in stuff. She got mad at me cause she saw a picture I made (cartoon) with the caption "WTF?!" And she thought people might get offended and take it seriously.

So I come here to ask you; Should I delete my dad as a friend on facebook? Or is that rude?
Cause he is invading my privacy I think...

Think of it like this: When you grow up, and when you're possibly a dad, how would you feel if your child did the same thing? First thing, i know you're going to say "Oh hell no! I'm not having kids!" or "No i would never do that to him/her!", but put it into perspective, and ask yourself, how would your dad feel.

An alternative, make your dad cool! Fix up his facebook page, give him some "e-tips" whatever. Instead of removing the problem, fix it!

I think the only time my parents got on my account, was when I was doing the dishes and they saw the "Photoshop me " Thread, my mom got on, saw the mexican guy holding the apple, and instead of looking at all the curse words, she just collapsed laughing. Thanks for saving my ass mods. I love you.

Just make a secondary account, say your switching to it to get him to add it, when he does delete the friend thing so he thinks he has your new account with your old account still intact.

Don't delete him, it will only 'cause an awkward situation once he brings it up. You want to avoid that. Instead, set him to limited profile. That way you two are still "friends", and he still believes he's checking up on you, yet he can't see anything you want to keep private. Ta-da.
