The Art Of War Cnc Generals Zh Mod

Hi everyone. I'm smooder, and I'm a member of the Art of War mod for Command and Conquer Generals ZH. Our aim is to completely reshape the game: Cnc Generals we will achieve this by pushing the game's engine to its limits and fine-tuning it to create a lag free, realistic and most importantly fun mod. We will replace the original factions and add three new ones. The USA, The European Union and Russia.
Our mod is focused on reality and the game play will feel completely different to Generals ZH. We will add over 100 new units (the units for the USA side are approximately 66% done)

Anyway, I'll cut to the chase; we are in need of some Musicians to compose music for our mod.

We would like three different styles (one for each faction) And about 10 songs per faction plus a main song... So that's a total of 31 songs. But if necessary we would greatly reduce this number to up to 21 songs, which will be our starting target.
There should be ambient and action packed songs (they will switch when the action picks up in game)

The styles we want are:

For the USA a Funky Rocky feel, maybe with some metal influences. Minimal vocals here and some nice guitar solos. Note the strong bass and Drums in my sample songs. This really helps get you in the mood to "Kick some Ass" American style: p

In both songs the faster parts would be combat samples and the slower would be ambient samples.

For the European Union we would like a Technoey Dancey thing with elements of traditional European Music (E.G a few opera vocals here and there, a few harps or Spanish guitar parts, maybe a few organs here and there)

The prodigy- Out of space. Only with the reggae replaced with European stuff.
And for Russia, this is the most free run side I think. Just something Industrial.

To be more specific with the music requests. I would like 2 songs for each faction that have that factions national anthem mixed with the style of music I asked for. One should be ambient, the other fast. On the European one it could have some of the major countries' in the union's anthems mixed in as well (France, Britain, Italy, Germany) But that's just an Idea.

That looks like a completely awesome idea, and I'd be glad to help you out. While I can't really help you with the American side (lacking guitar skills and the fact that they're damned hard to emulate,) I'd be glad to help you out with either Russia or the EU.

Just a little update. We currently have 2 people interested but I;m hoping to build up a nice little team so the music guyz can critique eachothers work and work together in some ways. I'm hoping for about three- four guys. You know what they say, too many cooks spoil the broth.

Just give it a little time. You'll see, other musicians will come around and help you out.

Yes that piece is beautiful. Okay if you join I have my team. You could alter some properties- make it longer and add a really chaotic part, but I really love it. Then it could be called "Kiss of Europa" and be a European song. I'll PM you some Information :)

I prefered the first one alot more, With the female voice. Because Europa is a Phonecian Deity (I believe) who is female she was supposed to be really beautiful and the Continent of Europe was named after her. Hence the "kiss of Europa" name.. Maybe you could base it more off the first one.

I wish there was an edit button... I do like the new string instrument you added but I think a lyre or spanish guitar would fit better :) So keep with the womans voice and that woluld be cool :0
