That's something with online relationships - they matter less than irl relationships, and I would imagine they end most of the time because someone met someone irl, only knew them for a few days, and already realised that they were having a better relationship with them than that girl they've been msning for 6 months.

Well, I understand some part of it. He really doesn't know what he was doing first of all, because he started this when he was 8. Now since he is 14, shouldn't he know not to be talking to people online, making himself do these perverted tasks for these people, that he doesn't even know?

It's very sad to actually look up this, and I'm not going to be part of this "let's help him" stuff. And of course I don't have to, because it's none of business. But hopefully he'll understand what's happening along the way.

Apparently what happens is, a little kid is discovering their homosexuality, and they stumble across one of these places, and all the paedos convince the kid that they're a paedo too, but that's fine, and they've met some friends here. And then groom the kid like that.

Thank you very much. :] However, I like things the way they are. When I've had boyfriends who lived close, I felt like both they and I would grow bored of eachother after a while. I also, before meeting him in person the first time, managed to talk to him a lot and got to know him for who he really is. Maybe down the road we'll run into someone else closer to us and end this... But for now, we're happy.
And, for the most part, I'll be seeing him everyother weekend atleast from now on. :]

For the most part I'd feel to give the child options and let him or her do what he or she wants with their life.
However, I agree; It's never the child's fault. The person could manipulate them mentally and they lack experience to see beyond it.
