Dude, Google celebrates everything. It's awesome how festive they get over the simplest and otherwise most unnotable days. It's almost rare to see a normal google banner these days. Almost.

Your level and name are strangely appropriate for this day. Just thought I'd bring that to your attention even though I'm sure you realized this already.

As a matter of fact, I haven't. Have you clicked MY sig yet? I bet you haven't. It isn't special, of course, but it's there. Waiting for a click of curiousity.

I just realised that I've been walking around all day with a union jack T-shirt on. And that doesn't convey my usual message of 'I am a Nationalist. Unionists are fuckers.' very well.

I really don't understand St. Patrick's Day at this phase of my life.

Give it a few more years, me. Give it a few more years and you'll understand...

I don't understand why American's celebrate St. Paddy's day more than the Irish do

Apart from the excuse to drink

Because America found a holiday, and want it to make it appealing to the country. So, we now have St. Drinking Day.

Well, as said, it's an excuse to drink, and off course, there was the large amount of irish immigrants, that multiplied, and mixed.

Fun fact, majority of african americans have some irish blood (and the avarage african american is one third white). Yet, you don't really see them celebrating the holiday.

So does Thanksgiving, the fat holiday. Yay for fat holidays. Most people attribute this holiday to the drinking, though. And pinching. Drinking and pinching, what a lovely combination!
