Look at 2:13 and 3:27
I like this song because it is so different than the others.
Disregard this post.

You need to use an ear trained on many types of music.I actually have quite a bit of Dragonforce on my computer. Its all the same frantic speed guitar. While skilled, it doesn't do anything for me in terms of substance.
My musical collection also spans almost any genre you can imagine and I actually have musical training. I do know what I'm talking about.
I guess it must just be personal preference because I rarely ever hear repetition in their songs, I hear lots of variation. There is border-line no repetition in their 3 slow songs, and those ones are just as awesome as the faster ones.
You've just been "Sarged"!

Steely Dan - Reeling in the Years
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
Led Zeppelin - Black Dog
Guns N' Roses - Paradise City
The Doors - The End (No real solos, I just like the guitar in it.)
Long time, no see!
I also like the Suck My Kiss solo. RHCP guitarist John Frusticante (sp?) is pretty damn awesome.
Telegraphy Road - Dire Straits
Beck's Bolero - Jeff Beck
