4.09 / 5.00 15,161 Viewsok guys... every guitar player on the planet loves ezdrummer!! ezdrummer never eats, sleeps, complains, plays while your tuning, or tells you that your riffs suck. all in all id say ezdrummer is a guitar players best friend. BUT! what do drummers think of ezdrummer?
drummers usually have the advantage that they are usally far and few (especially good ones). but since ezdrummer came along they have some compatition!!!
ill start this off by saying that my drummer (vilify... check it in the metal section) HATES!!! ezdrummer. he just wont except the fact that hes better than him. he tells me... oh it has no feel to it, and "dude! you cant play that with one bass pedal!" lol.
anyways any other drummers care to comment? or guitar players to i guess.
I'm a drummer, and I think EZDrummer's awesome.

I'm not a drummer but I have the same opinion on this matter. IT'S AWESOME! Easy to handle and to program. Only let down is that you can't really edit the samples. I mean, sure, you can EQ the set but you can't really edit each sample for your needs.
Other than that, it's still my fav. drum prog out there. At least for now. :)
I'm also a drummer, and ezDrummer really freakin' makes creating songs easy...
Man, think of all the recording equipment you need to get a decent drum sound... This thing saves a lot TIME and hell of a lot of money.

Oh but darkside...there is an answer.
I have all the dkfh samples. And since I sequence in FL...oh the ease to which to replace a sample. :D
I'll have to catch you on messenger cause A: I haven't seen you in a while, and B: I thought you had all those samples separate? haha.
I'm a drummer, and I've never fiddled with EZDrummer, so I have no opinion :(
I personally prefer Addictive Drums, but EZDrummer is pretty sweet.
EP2 out now! Download it for free :).

EZDrummer is great from everything I've heard, though I've never used it myself. I've stuck with Drumkit from Hell samples loaded into Battery. I doubt I'll be picking up EZDrummer anytime soon, but I am looking forward to Superior 2.0.
I play the drums and EZDrummer was alright.
Certainly can't flip sticks on stage though. =D
I'm not a drummer and I have to admit that ezdrummer has been an absolute life saver for me since i got it. Programming drums has always been a chore for me so to have something that plays better and with more feel than i could ever imagine means i can focus on the bits i am good at, making the music.

Cheers dude, at least someone knows how to be helpful :D
Well, I've never heard of it so there really isn't a lot of feed back I can give on it. There's a lot I'd like to say on the subject, but I'd really only like to contribute to this if I could get two things. 1: some samples of what this thing sounds like, and 2: an overview of what this thing is.
Giants are too tall. We'll have to stand on top of each others shoulders to survive.

1) Sample <---DarKsidE555's tune. No self whoring here! haha.
2) dfh EZdrummer® is a multi-microphone drum sampler designed for musicians and producers in need of a compact, affordable, easy to handle plug-in without compromising sound quality or control. The visualized drums in the interface combine auditioning of sounds and drumkit construction. The extensive drag and drop midi-library (featuring 8000+ midifiles) enables users to create a great drumtrack in just a few clicks. For more advanced handling, users can control microphone bleeding and levels between drums using the internal mixer.
EZDrummer, here's a link to the page with more information Quarl. Though Badman did a fairly good job of describing it.
