Well, I already got paid I suppose I should have mentioned, so I'm making two more designs pretty soon I guess. More like the other altered collage things, you know? Metal likes it, so I guess I'll like it.

Great designs. I do think you go a bit overboard with the splashes and texturing sometimes, though. It makes the designs a bit too busy. For instance, It's really hard to make out the "August and everything after" design.

I can dig it. I'm trying to cut back on it though...i'm in a weird place with my design right now. I really wanna kick things up a notch.

oh, and I absolutely LOVE feedback. If anyone else has any like idiot-monarch, PLEASE say it! Especially if it's mean.

Since Seeking Surreal weren't fans of my hand drawn stuff, I went back to tried and true photo manipulation and shapes.

The eye of the dinosaur looks weird, but it won't be in the final product.

I will critique your work. It seems as though you are skilled in photoshop but lack artistic skill. Similar to me. I can cut and past and change colors and put text to your same ability. Yes it would make a good t-shirt design most of the time but if you're getting those images off google, or other websites, you could get in trouble. If this is what you enjoy doing then I won't tell you to stop. I will tell you though, if you want to get good attention from the people that know whats going on here, you should try making everything from scratch and focus more on the artistic side of it, and not the "hey look I can put cool things together in photoshop" side of it. Thats just my opinion; I've been using photoshop forever but just recently started freehand drawing in photoshop. All my stuff pretty much sucks so far but I feel better knowing that everything I've done is mine.

I like to think there's a little bit more to it than just that. It's colors and spacing and balancing and searching. I get these images fair and square. These are mostly public domain picture scans that are more than legal for me to use. I've drawn, too, buddy. Not as extensively as some here, but I can do it. But your opinion is yours I suppose.

There is definetly more to it than that. Design is an art form. Although artistic skill is neccesarry, ability to use programs and creativity are as well.

i like it, the top purple circle looks good, with the splash, but the bottom one doesn't really appeal to me, it just looks like you have tried a new affect that hasn't really worked.
