Whoa, how did a flash that didn't get any daily award end up with weekly first? That just seems weird... Well, obviously, only the people who enjoyed the first half would have bothered to watch the second half. Anyone who didn't like the first half wouldn't have even bothered going to watch the second half, therefore the it was protected from low votes. If part 2 was replaced with part 1 on the front page it would have balanced out the score.

At least Olympus Burger 2/2 deserved weekly first more than Smash Kingdom Melee. I seriously tried watching it twice, but I couldn't finish it because it just wasn't amusing at all... it was just annoying. Do people just vote 5 on it without watching it or something because it has Smash Bros. in the title, or does the general public have a really poor sense of humor? Wait... what am I saying, I'm the general public, haha.

Also a bit sad STWPT didn't get any weekly award. It was my favorite submission this week.

totally agree with you there. Poorly done video game sprite movies do the best. It is really sad. I wish STWPT got a weekly.

Wow. 4.40 and no weekly award? Heh, this happens a lot these days. I think I've had four submissions now with a 4.15 - 4.40 that didn't get weeklys, when in past years those scores would've always meant Weekly FIrst.

Oh well, it was fun. I really don't feel that disappointed or anything. Besides, it's great that our collab didn't beat out solo work like Drunken Masters and Pillage Village that individuals put a ton of effort into.

Though I must say, "Smash Kingomd Melee" absolutely sucked, being one of the worst movies I've ever seen (said this back when our collab was far ahead of it in score, so don't make the childish assumption that I'm just bitter), created without a scrap of talent using entirely stolen artwork.
That it was higher scoring than Pass-My-Flash 2 shows the idiocy of many people around here.
I have no apologies for the people who think I'm being unessecarily harsh. Harsh words is the only thing this situation deserves. The creator of this "movie" is a thief and a hack.

Nearly everything else this week was pretty great. Nice to see some quality original submissions.
Watch Alex Seryoua, guys; that may turn into a very promising series.
And check out some of the fantastic games this week. Great stuff. Awesome job, guys.

Shit- I'm still in shock that Drunken Masters scored as high as it did. Don't get me wrong, the game developers do this because we love to create as much as anyone else does, but we're also in it for the paycheck. I think the movie authors- the ones that do it strictly to create and entertain, without getting anything out of it other than the pride of seeing their work sitting on the Front Page- should be the ones getting the weekly awards, collab or not.

It might be because it didn't have the needed score on the day but the score was bumped up a lot after it was front paged, don't see it to often but it does look kind of strange, lol. Decent week too, I enjoyed Drunken Masters as a game, though yesterday wasn't so good.

This week was just way to good, so many good movies that didnt win a weekly award because there were too many other good movies, drunken masters gets in a normal week the weekly users choise just like pass my flash 2, Smash kingdom melee and short to wear pants to, its really a pitty that not every movie got what it deserves...

Pass My Flash and Short To Wear Pants To is not as entertaining as Smash Kingdom Melee. Pass My Flash is boring and random, and STWPT has the dumbest songs I've ever heard. Now SKM is hilarious. Like I said before, it IS COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT to steal art. You can still have good comedy, even parodies, with ORIGINAL ART. This isn't art vs. comedy. They can coexist. This is stealing art that isn't yours without permission and putting them into a so called "animation".

It does make perfect grammatical sense. If you knew English, you would know that says modifies the word person. The only error I see is that I forgot the word "who". I bet you have made grammatical errors in your life time. Also, personal attacks over an opinion is childish. I find that if you have not animated anything before, I don't think that you have a right to say time and effort actually went into that flash. Not only was the animation bad and the art wasn't his, the voice acting was terrible.
